As looking around Huawei’s standard their Mate series smartphone’s have been there maxed out everything is just premium from design to looks to performance.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro is nothing different than the previous ones, the most powerful and the first phone to have 5G variant ever made by Huawei.
Here are the specifications and features of Huawei Mate 30 Pro:-
Huawei Mate 30 Pro comes with quad camera setup which Huawei called as Halo design, the 40MP(f/1.6) RYYB sensor, 8MP(f/2.4) 3x telephoto camera which has 5x hybrid zoom capability. A whopping 40MP(f/1.6) ultra-wide cinema camera which takes amazing ultra-wide shots and videos.
The Mate 30 Pro comes with a 32MP f/2.0 with a 3D TOF depth sensor, in fact the back camera has also a 3D TOF depth camera.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro comes with a 6.53 inches OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1176 pixels (Full HD+), so it’s not that sharp and high resolution like the Samsung Galaxy NOTE 10+ with its 1440p display which is the best display currently in the market.
This is not a 90Hz or 120Hz display, it’s just a simple 60Hz OLED panel, but considering that it’s a premium phone everyone was expecting that it should have launched with atleast 90Hz like the Oneplus 7 Pro.
The Mate 30 Pro is the first phone from Huawei that comes with the new octacore 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 990 with Mali G-76 MP16 GPU and many youtubers have benchmarked it, and it just crushes everything in the Android market with an unbelievable 450+k benchmark score in the Antutu Benchmark app.
This phone is even faster that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ which is only available in the Asus ROG Phone 2.
The outstanding performance even matching with the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max, this phone is giving some really tough competition in this category.
There’s a twist, the normal Mate 30 Pro comes with 4x Cortex A76 cores in which 2x A76 are clocked at 2.86Ghz, 2x A76 cores are at 2.09Ghz and 4x A55 cores at 1.86Ghz.
But the twist is in the Mate 30 Pro 5G model which has a little bit of difference here, this phone has the same processor but in this, 2x A76 cores are clocked at 2.86Ghz like the previous ones but the 2x A76 cores are clocked at 2.36Ghz and 4x A55 cores are clocked at the same 1.86Ghz speed.
Because of the two cores which are clocked at 2.36Ghz, it gives more performance from the device when you are using for multi-tasking or doing heavy work like playing heavy games. This device will shine at that time.
The Mate 30 Pro comes with a base variant of 8GB/256GB model which is quite familiar and normal nowadays as you all know that most of the premium smartphone are launching with either 8/256 or 8/128 model.
The highest variant has 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and double the amount of storage from base variant i.e., 512GB of UFS3.0 storage.
This phone has 4500mAh battery which can easily get you a day if you are heavy user and if you are not then it can more likely give you two days of battery life which is quite good, and should be expected from a premium smartphone.

This phone is killer right now in the Android market which such a great camera and hardware it gonna just crush in the premium segment.
But the main flaw, it is the biggest, it does not come with Google Play Services, instead of this Huawei have their own alternative.
Huawei has their invested $1B for their app store to get the attention of developers to develop apps for their new ecosystem, we don’t know will it succeed or fail but it will take time definitely.
