Today I am going to compare Realme XT vs Vivo Z1X and tell you which one is better and why?

As you all know that Vivo Z1X vs Realme XT is the hottest topic in the Indian smartphone market right now for the mid-range premium smartphone under ₹20000.

realme xt vs vivo z1x

Let’s talk about specifications first

Vivo Z1x comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE processor and Adreno 616 is the GPU that comes with this processor.

Realme XT, this phone is also is comes with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 and Adreno 616 GPU, so no difference in this area.

Processor – Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE with Adreno 616 GPU

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE is octa-core processor which means it has 8Cores/8Threads and is made upon 10nm FinFet technology in which 2x 2.2Ghz Kryo 360 (Cortex-A75) and 6x 1.7 Kryo 360Ghz(Cortex -A55), in simple words it has 2x A-75 cores which handles heavier loads like gaming and all and 6x A-55 cores which are made for simple tasks like browsing watching videos and lightweight tasks.

The Adreno 616 GPU which is has a memory of 512MB and is clocked at 750Mhz this GPU is best in if you are planning for an android phone under 20000INR.

As you all know that the most graphic-intensive game which can a burn any GPU in Play Store is PUBG Mobile, and on this GPU you will easily get 30-40 FPS depending upon your settings and in other games, it can touch up to 60 FPS easily.

Cameras – Vivo Z1X vs Realme XT

Rear Camera

Vivo Z1X comes with triple AI cameras in which the primary camera is 48MP AI Sony IMX 582 sensor which is a little bit disappointing as Vivo Z1 comes with Sony IMX 586 sensor which is a flagship sensor, available in many Flagship grade smartphones like Oneplus 7 series and Asus Zenphone 6, etc. which is definitely better than the Sony IMX 582.

The other ones are 8MP wide-angle lens which Vivo calls it in its terms Super Wide-Angle camera, it is for capturing more wider field of view and a 2MP depth sensor for taking portrait mode shots.

The Realme XT has a quad-camera setup, the main camera is Samsung Isocell GW1 f/1.8 64MP sensor which is the first smartphone in the world, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens for shooting macro shots.

The dynamic range of Realme XT is slightly less than the Vivo Z1X.

Front camera

Vivo Z1X comes with a 32MP AI camera with Vivo’s typical beauty mode and other things like AR stickers, filters, etc.

The Realme XT has a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor which takes poor images than its competitor Vivo Z1X as it has very low clarity and sharpness in comparison with Vivo Z1X.

Build Quality – Vivo Z1X vs Realme XT

Talking about build quality the Realme XT comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection and the Vivo Z1X comes Schott Sensation 3D which is not a well-known brand for many of us and I don’t know how much it is good in protecting the phone.

So in this category, I will give points to Realme as Gorilla Glass 5 I think is more durable than the Vivo’s ones, but in my opinion, you should use a case or a skin to protect the back panel from any damage.

Display – Vivo Z1X vs Realme XT

realme xt

The Vivo Z1X 6.38” of the screen whereas the Realme XT has 6.4”, so no difference at all here. The aspect ratio of Vivo Z1X is 19.5:9 which is 90% screen to body ratio whereas the Realme XT has 91.29% of screen to body ratio which is slightly more than that of Vivo.

Both the phones Super AMOLED panels with FULL HD+ resolution and both the phones have waterdrop notches.

Both the phones support Widewine L1, so if you are using Netflix or Amazon Prime, etc. like services you can watch the shows in Full HD resolution.

Fingerprint Sensor – Vivo Z1X vs Realme XT

Both the phones are having an in-display fingerprint sensor and the are equally fast so no different here at all.

Battery – Vivo Z1X vs Realme XT

The Vivo Z1X has 4500mA0 battery whereas the Realme XT has a 4000mAh and they both come with fast charging capability, the Realme XT has VOOC 3.0 20W charger whereas the Vivo Z1X comes with 22.5 Vivo’s FlashCharge technology.

The Vivo Z1X has a little bit more juice left at the end of the day as it has 500mAh more than that of Realme XT.

Pricing – Vivo Z1X vs Realme XT

4/646/646/1288/128
Realme XT ₹15,999 ₹16,999 NA ₹18,999
Vivo Z1XNA ₹16,990 ₹18,990 NA

The Realme XT is starting from 15,999 for its base variant 4/64, 16,999 for 6/64 and 18,999 for 8/128, whereas Vivo Z1X starts from 16,999 for its base variant 6/64 and 18,999 for 6/128, Vivo Z1X has only two variants.

Conclusion

  • The main difference comes to build quality where Vivo uses Schott Sensation 3D glass and the Realme uses Gorilla Glass 5.
  • The other one is the Realme XT has a base variant of 4/64 and Vivo Z1X has 6/64 and if you are very tight on budget then Realme XT has a slight edge on it.
  • The differences in software experience can also be deciding factor as because as of now the Realme XT’s ColorOS is more stable and gets regular updates from the company whereas Vivo’s FunTouch OS is heavier and sometimes you will feel lag.

So what do you think which you gonna pick? Let me know in the comment section.
