Xiaomi has finally launched the Redmi K30 in China on the 10th of December which was leaked much earlier. Today we will talk about its specs availability and also the price at which this phone is launched. We will also see whether it justifies the current competitive market and where it stands in the current scenario.

Let’s talk about the design first the Xiaomi Redmi K30 is having an aluminum frame which is covered by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both sides. On the right-hand side of the phone from the front, there are volume rockers and just below them there is a power button which is also the fingerprint scanner, so no under the display or in-display fingerprint scanner like the predecessor, the Redmi K20.

On the left side, there is nothing much but only the hybrid SIM slot, you can use the secondary SIM slot for expansion of storage up to 256GB.

On the back there is a quad-camera setup along with dual-tone dual-LED flashlights, the cameras are covered by a circular pattern around it which kinda reminds the look of Huawei Mate 30 Pro.

The successor of Redmi K20 is having a 6.67” 120Hz 1080 x 2400 IPS LCD panel with 395ppi and screen to body ratio of ~84.8%, the screen is also HDR10 supported. The screen is a hole-punch display with dual front-facing camera setup on the upper right corner of the screen.

Let’s talk about the 5G model pricing, so the base model of 5G model which is 6/64GB is priced at CNY 1,999 (20114.16 INR approx.), the 6/128GB model is priced at CNY 2,299 (23132.79 INR approx.), 8/128GB model is priced at CNY 2,599 (26151.42 INR approx.) and the top-notch model is priced at CNY 2,899 (29170.05 INR approx.).

Xiaomi has listed the phone on Mi.com and JD.com, and pre-sale was started from yesterday the 11th of December.

Conclusion

As of now there are rumors that the Redmi K30 5G will start from 20,100 but there is no clear answer obviously, the pricing will only be revealed when this phone will launch in India.

For now, we don’t exact timing when it is going to launch in India but surely it will not launch this year, I think maybe in January last or in February they are going to launch this device. What do you expect from this phone especially when this will get launch in India? Do let me know in the comments.
